Our client in Burlington has an immediate need to hire a permanent forklift operator for their team.

Location:
Burlington

Position:
Forklift Operator (Reach Truck)
Hours: 9:00am-5:00pm Monday through Friday

$20-$22.50

Job Description:

  • Ensure the quality of the company's policies and procedures are shown while product is picked, checked, packed and shipped
  • Exemplifies safe and efficient operation of all material handling equipment
  • Manage and track inventory levels, performing inventory count and daily cycle count
  • Utilizing computers and software for proper documentation of shipments

Assets and Qualifications:

  • Three years of recent experience in a similar role
  • Three years of recent experience operating the correct machines
  • Ability to lift/pull/push and move up to 50lbs
  • Proficient computer skills and warehouse management systems
  • Aware and knowledgeable of health and safety legislation
  • Good communication skills (written and oral)
  • Experience or knowledge of 3PL services and processes is an asset
