What You Bring:
- Under the guidance of the Manager, Contracts you will assist in the review of proposal terms and conditions
- Assist in the negotiation of proposals to bring to contract award
- Assist in the review of any contract change proposals
- A high attention to detail is required to ensure accuracy of our contracts and the comprehension and interpretation of terms and conditions
- Establish business relationships with executives, managers, employees, customers, vendors and subcontractors
- Support the Manager, Contracts with Security clearance and Controlled Goods requirements
- Accurate and timely export application process using the Canadian Government's EXCOL system
- Support the export control classification of products and technical documentation under Canadian export regulations and/or US export regulations
Your Expertise:
- Interpret contracts to assist Program Managers and to create flow down for vendors or subcontractors
- Analyze and interpret legal documents, regulations, laws, and industry standards
- Team player with a strong customer orientation, including a win-win philosophy in dealing with customers.
- Knowledge of FAR/DFAR/SACC provisions an asset
- Knowledge of CGP and CDN export, US extra-territorial export regulations an asset
