What You Bring:

  • Under the guidance of the Manager, Contracts you will assist in the review of proposal terms and conditions
  • Assist in the negotiation of proposals to bring to contract award
  • Assist in the review of any contract change proposals
  • A high attention to detail is required to ensure accuracy of our contracts and the comprehension and interpretation of terms and conditions
  • Establish business relationships with executives, managers, employees, customers, vendors and subcontractors
  • Support the Manager, Contracts with Security clearance and Controlled Goods requirements
  • Accurate and timely export application process using the Canadian Government's EXCOL system
  • Support the export control classification of products and technical documentation under Canadian export regulations and/or US export regulations

Your Expertise:

  • Interpret contracts to assist Program Managers and to create flow down for vendors or subcontractors
  • Analyze and interpret legal documents, regulations, laws, and industry standards
  • Team player with a strong customer orientation, including a win-win philosophy in dealing with customers.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE* Degree in Business Administration or related field preferred* 3+ years of related work experience, preferably within aerospace, naval or defense industry
  • Knowledge of FAR/DFAR/SACC provisions an asset
  • Knowledge of CGP and CDN export, US extra-territorial export regulations an asset
