Job Summary:

Responsible for overseeing functions of the gift basket team alongside the Gift Basket Coordinator to ensure daily production goals are met.


Employment Type:

Seasonal Contract/Full-time August-December 2023.

Reports to:

Category Specialist

*Job Duties

  • Keep track of daily production by recording daily logs and reporting to Gift Basket Coordinator
  • Supervise team and delegate tasks accordingly.
  • Prepare products for basket production.
  • Assemble baskets with the correct product.
  • Seal baskets using equipment provided.
  • Finalize baskets with decoration (bow, wrapping) and appropriate gift tag or price.
  • Maintaining a tidy workspace.
  • Fulfilling daily start and end of day duties.
  • All other duties as assigned by Management.
*Requirements

  • Previous team lead experience is considered an asset.
  • Ability to balance multiple tasks and demonstrate a handson leadership style.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with different levels of the organization.
  • Adaptable to changes in production schedules.
  • Some Saturdays may be required.
*Essential Job Functions

  • Standing for extended periods of time.
  • Bend and stoop to grasp objects.
  • Bend and twist the upper body, reach above and below shoulders.
  • Bend and lift loads, up to 50 pounds.
  • Push and pull carts weighing up to 100 pounds.
  • Repetitive use of hands for grasping, pushing, pulling and fine manipulation.
  • Environmental exposure to cold temperatures.
