As aSenior Project Manager / Engineer – Bridgesbased in Calgary, Alberta you will be responsible for various technical leadership and project management duties on a variety of small to large-scale projects including public, high-profile projects.
You will be required to work within a growing team environment carrying out feasibility, assessment, design, project engineering/management and construction support services on a large variety of bridge and other structural engineering assignments.
Planning, organizing, and working with technical groups in the delivery of project requirements.- Design of bridges and facilitiesfor public and privateinfrastructure including roadways, heavy rail, light rail,pedestrian bridges, retaining walls, foundations, and buildings.
- Involvement in project management ofstructural engineering projects.
- Ensure projects are well managed and controlled, and meet required performance, safety and business standards.
- Technical structural lead and engineer of record on bridge projects.
- Preparation of technical specifications and design reports.
- Mentoring and development of technical staff.
- Minimum 10years of proven experience in structural engineering and design software.
- Business development experience would be considered an asset.
- Ability to meet demanding schedules and adaptability to changing priorities is a valuable asset.
