The responsibility of the Customer Service Representative is to coordinate customer requests and requirements with the departments of Sales, Service, Production, Information Technology, Traffic and Billing to ensure a satisfied customer and promote future business for the company.

This position will work from the office in Burlington, ON.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers by following departments established processes and best practices.
  • Verify PO numbers, price and quantities are correct when PO's are received. When necessary, contact customers for corrections.
  • Take responsibility for all customer orders by verifying that the order is entered correctly, and that delivery dates are being met. Communicate any changes and delays with both sales and the customer.
  • Archive all customer quotes, purchase orders, proof of delivery documents in digital form in SharePoint.
  • Maintain customer records in AX by updating information as necessary.
  • Collaborate with all departments to best support customer needs.
  • Process all credits to ensure timely invoicing and assist Accounts Receivable in addressing overdue customer accounts.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 13 years of experience in a Customer Service role.
  • Microsoft AX and Salesforce experience is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software is a must.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical, decisionmaking, and problemsolving skills.
  • Fluent in French and English, both written and verbal is required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
