What you'll do:


The Product Specialist, Moulded Case Circuit Breaker (MCCB) Integration will support the marketing and integration of the Power Defense line of MCCBs into OEM and Interunit customers.

The primary functions of the position is to create, support, and implement the value propositions to generate demand for Power Defense MCCBs, develop material to support the integration of the Power Defense products and facilitate integration work with customers, develop customer specific plans including resource requirements for the integration work, all while leveraging Eaton resources as appropriate to achieve the objectives set forth in the integration plans.


  • Implement and help refine customer specific Power Defense transition plans with the buyin and support of the applicable sales resources
  • Serve as the main point of contact for Eaton sales teams, EatonCare, and all customers (external & internal) on the Power Defense product family
  • Project manage customer transition process by developing specific project plans for individual customers that are aligned to Eaton's goals and the customer's needs. Execute those project plans by leveraging Eaton's and the customer's resources; forecast and communicate progress and expectations accordingly
  • Support crossfunctional efforts related to Power Defense product development, leveraging engineering and supply chain teams to drive timely completion of new product launches. Effectively manage customer and sales force expectations of product launch timing
  • Support development and implementation of both strategic and profit plan objectives for Power Defense
  • Lead effort for product launch and customer transition activities, ensuring that growth and financial objectives are met
  • Manage and support day to day customer and tactical activity as needed (order expedites, plant load planning, supporting warranty administration, etc.); coordinate largescale orders/projects to maximize ontime delivery & customer satisfaction
  • Drive sales and orders reporting to support order entry and sales forecast/flash
  • Instruct customers how to locate, select, and download component and assembly drawings for use in their platform development
  • Provide technical content for value proposition creation and value selling tools through intimate knowledge of customers, markets segments served and associated industry trends. Contribute to new product development specification efforts and review as appropriate to support the PROLaunch Process
  • Engage targeted endusers to drive specification of Eaton components, thus creating demand for Eaton across multiple OEMs and interunit customers

Qualifications:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • University degree or college diploma is required in Engineering, business or marketing from an accredited institution
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in marketing, engineering or sales
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada without company sponsorship now and in the future
  • No relocation provided

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Technical Professional Designation (P.Eng., CET, C.Tech.)
