RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Execute coffee orders throughout the day
  • Perform table service for dinein guests during brunch hours
  • Organize and consolidate pastries sold throughout the day
  • Help with counterservice for pastries and coffee takeaway orders
  • Build rapport with new customers and returning customers
  • Liaise with other baristas and servers to help where needed
  • Perform tasks for opening or closing duties
  • Meeting the needs of all guests through customer service and product knowledge
  • Stocking/restocking of all instore products and goods
  • Cash handling and transactions
  • Help organize, wash and maintain dishware
  • General housekeeping and maintenance
  • Professionally and knowledgeably represent the company
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through deescalation methods
  • Prevent or minimize waste
  • Perform opening or closing duties depending on the scheduled shift
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be available to work 1525 hours a week.
  • 1 year of experience as a barista in a busy establishment required
  • 6 months of serving is an asset
  • Ability to multitask, especially in a fast and highpressure environment
  • Has a sense of business acumen and confidence
  • Familiar with operating and troubleshooting POS
  • Ability to multitask and handle different priorities at once
  • Strong communication and organization skills
  • Collaborative, honest and dependable
