Job Description:

The incumbent is the front line person who liaises with clients, departments, and personnel both internal and external to the College for appeals, under the supervision of the Manager.

Reporting to the Manager, Parking Lockers and Card Services, the incumbent is also responsible for assessing and rendering decisions on appeals filed on behalf of individuals who have received Parking Infraction Notices (PIN's) issued by the College Parking Enforcement Officer's and communicating the College decision to the Appellants, City of Ottawa, and Court Officials.

The incumbent, who as a valid cadre number, will be called upon to substitute for Enforcement staff and assume their duties while the regular College Parking Enforcement Officers attend court or are otherwise unavailable.

The incumbent will also provide front desk client service for Parking, Lockers and Card Services on a regular basis and as required, reconcile the front desk activities at the end of the day.

The incumbent, will maintain and trouble shoot the Pay and Exit machines in visitor lot.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 (two) Year Diploma/Degree or equivalent in Security Management;
  • Minimum three (3) years related experience working in p arking and related operations, and / or Enforcement Services, with familiarity of procedures for the City of Ottawa offices of the Court and Parking Bylaw Enforcement
  • As well as clerical duties.
