About the position:

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the Lead Hand - Bulk is responsible for directing the operations of the bulk department to meet orders for Company products and customer service levels.

Where you'll work:
Edmonton West facility, 5 days per week

What you'll do:

  • Directs tasks, guides, and instructs employees
  • Oversees the blending and mixing activities of products for customer delivers
  • Monitor's quality of products and storage, supervise changes in storage of product
  • Ensures all additives are properly labelled and stored in a safe manner and that all empty drums and pails are disposed of in a proper manner
  • Directs the loading and unloading of tank cars and trucks with company product and raw materials.
  • Oversee, and/or assist in the precise measuring components used in the mixing and blending operations
  • Responsible for regular toolbox meetings with operators

What you'll need:

  • High school education
  • Some previous leadership experience
  • Five (5) years chemical transfer experience preferred
  • Ability to lead with safety, ethics, and respect in the workplace
