About the role
What you'll do here:
- Ensuring the enterprise architecture team effectiveness, including, performance reviews and management, resource planning and project staffing, task assignment, development of team objectives, resource career management and team engagement strategies
- Reviewing architectures solutions and assisting in the development of technical roadmaps for our products in the different business domains
- In collaboration with the software engineering community, develop architecture standards, processes and practice.
- Presenting technology strategies, governance and maintaining an active participation of your team in technology discussion forums and peer reviews
- Assisting in the projects prioritization within the IT portfolio and the identification of future alignment between projects and new technology
What you bring to the table:
- B.S. Degree in Software Engineering or equivalent experience.
- At least 10 years of experience in IT architecture for a large organization with experience in leading an enterprise architecture team
- Experience in implementing Architecture Standards, Governance Frameworks (like TOGAF)
- Capability to maintain effective relationships within distributed architecture areas, software engineering, Labs, Business groups and Shared services
- Necessary Financial Acumen to manage portfolios
- Ability to lead in a highly collaborative environment with many different teams, roles and responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent collaboration skills and team player skills.
- Good knowledge of Agile practices.
- Application architecture, project management and development experience.
- Bilingual in French and English is a strong asset
