The main goal of IT Infrastructure & Operations (IT I&O) teams is to provide support for various operations such as cloud management, network maintenance, server monitoring, storage upkeep, printer management, data center oversight, database maintenance, and phone system maintenance to ensure everything is in good working order across the company.

IT I&O ensures that all systems are running at their best and that the services provided meet business requirements, addressing any issues that may arise.

IT I&O teams also collaborate with different BTS application & project teams, company sites, and external vendors to offer the necessary infrastructure support.

The company is in search of an Infrastructure Analyst with a strong background and experience in IT Infrastructure & Operations, particularly with expertise in Windows servers, VMWare, Exchange, Office 365, and Azure technologies.

The ideal candidate should thrive in a fast-paced environment and have demonstrated experience supporting IT infrastructure within a large and complex organization, along with the ability to assess and recommend appropriate support solutions.

The Infrastructure Analyst will be involved in daily operational tasks, upgrades, and technology projects as they arise. These tasks may occur simultaneously or sequentially based on identified dependencies during work planning.

Reporting to the IT Operations Manager in the BTS Applications & Operations department, and collaborating closely with technical and project team members, business stakeholders, and service providers, the Infrastructure Analyst will:

  • Perform the implementation, monitoring, and maintenance of both on- and off-premise data center infrastructure.
  • Provide technical support and enhance operational efficiency for data center infrastructure.
  • Offer resolution support for any escalated data center infrastructure-related operational issues and service requests.
  • Take part in various data center infrastructure projects.
  • Monitor and uphold the performance and capacity of data center infrastructure.
  • Provide expertise and assist BTS staff with data center infrastructure requirements.

This role is technically intricate and requires a senior Infrastructure Analyst with substantial experience in an information systems environment, particularly in data center infrastructure design and analysis, troubleshooting, and project implementation at a senior level within a large enterprise.

Requirements:

  • A diploma in Computer Science or a related discipline from a recognized institute of technology, specialized in data center infrastructure, or a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of prior experience in an information systems environment with a focus on data center infrastructure design and analysis, troubleshooting, and complex project implementation at a senior level in a large enterprise.
  • Extensive and proven experience in managing stakeholders using effective interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience in gathering and analyzing functional and technical requirements from key technical and business areas.
  • Proficiency in writing and documenting operational processes and best practices.
