Van Beek's is a well-known hardscape garden supply center that has been successfully servicing the Greater Toronto Area for over 60 years.

We pride ourselves in maintaining excellent customer service standards and providing quality products to various types of customers. We are looking for Full-time Sales Associates who can converse in English and Mandarin to add to our team for 2023

Primary Function:


Maintain a professional work environment by providing superior customer service, upkeep a clean work area, and provide general assistance to the overall day-to-day operations of the store.


Typical Duties:

  • Provide superior customer experience.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge to provide guidance to homeowners and contractors.
  • Provide accurate pricing and quotes, taking orders over phone, online, inperson.
  • General office duties, answering phone, creating invoices, scheduling deliveries.
  • Effectively use a PointofSale system to complete various types of sales.
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness of storefront.
  • Crosstrain on various roles as required.
  • Complete additional assigned tasks as required.

Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications, and Experience:

  • Fluent in Mandarin & English
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced, busy store.
  • Must be able to lift 30lbs.
  • Must have good written and oral communication skills.
  • Must be willing to work Saturdays and occasional statutory holidays.
  • Customer service experience is an asset.
  • Knowledge of P.O.S. Systems is an asset.
  • Knowledge of landscaping materials is an asset.
