We're seeking a dynamic Marketing Specialist to join our team.

Do you excel at data analysis, copywriting, and collaborating with peers to create effective marketing strategies? Are you adept at identifying marketing opportunities and trends? If so, we want to hear from you.

Your role:
As part of our Marketing team, you will work on promoting our books and authors, managing advertising, engaging with audiences, and providing creative direction for various titles. Collaborate with the team to support marketing campaigns and initiatives throughout the year.

Responsibilities:
  • Align with the Director, Marketing & Publicity to develop cross-channel marketing tactics within budget.
  • Coordinate with advertising and design teams to launch performance-driven campaigns.
  • Utilize data to identify effective marketing channels.
  • Monitor campaign performance and suggest optimizations.
  • Manage campaign workflow and deadlines.
  • Explore marketing opportunities for backlist titles using trends and data.
  • Develop creative campaigns for backlist titles and bestsellers.
  • Support corporate marketing campaigns for key sales seasons.

Requirements:
  • Experience in executing diverse marketing campaigns, especially in digital and social advertising.
  • Strong copywriting and editing skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with design teams.
  • Proficiency in marketing analytics and performance-driven campaigns.
  • Excellent organizational and teamwork skills.
  • Inclusive and culturally competent approach to work.
  • Passion for books and authors.

This position is based in Toronto, with at least three days in the office. Candidates near Toronto will be preferred.
