Material Handler

Duties:

  • Clean all auxiliary equipment when changing colors or material types.
  • Remove and store materials from the warehouse as required.
  • Notify the Team Leader when the material lot number changes to issue new first off.
  • Ensure that all machines have the required amount of material at all times.
  • Ensure that the hopper loaders are delivering the correct blend of regrind/virgin to the machine at all times.
  • Ensure that all auxiliary equipment is in 100% good and safe working order.
  • Ensure Material that require Drying as per spec sheet prep and Dry ahead of time
  • Notify the Team Leader of any malfunctioning equipment or safety issues immediately.
  • Remove and store all raw material/concentrates from the machine when no longer required.
  • Weigh and label all unused materials that are to be returned to the warehouse.
  • Receive and store approved material in the designated storage areas.
  • Clean any spillage or waste generated in blending or loading materials.
  • Follow safety procedures and understand machine and equipment functions and safety devices.
  • Assist in any other duties as required by the Team Leader

Requirements:

Valid Forklift License: 3-5 years of experience

  • Operate Forklift and other Material Handling Equipment
  • Exceptional organization skills
  • Follow safety instructions
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment
  • Ability to fulfill orders in a timely manner
  • Able to work effectively in team environment
  • Heavy Lifting (up to 25 Kg's)
  • Excellent Computer, Communication, and Organizational skills.
  • Good understanding of mathematics and percentages.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent

Salary:
$17.00-$19.00 per hour
