The Training Administrator provides the Power Generation Region with accurate and efficient administration of training through; adherence to policies, quality assurance and regulatory requirements.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitor department shared mailboxes and triage requests/reports
- Maintain PGR Onboarding, PGR Training, and Training Room Outlook Calendars
- Assist with Onboarding duties including, but not limited to, preparing, collecting and processing paperwork,
- Prepare classroom and course materials for training courses, maintain training rosters, schedule and closeout courses in Learning Management System as directed
- Work with Training Coordinators and Learning & Development Coordinators on other duties as assigned
- Schedule department meetings and record Meeting Minutes, Distribute minutes as required
- Understand and comply with project retention policies and standards
- Project level attendance (site accounting) and project payroll
- Other Project Level Administrative requests as required
- Distribute, retrieve, and archive documents
- Communicate relevant information to internal and external stakeholders when required
- Understand projectspecific filing systems, interfaces, and general document control processes and manage the flow of information accordingly
- Adhere to record retention policies and standards, and comply with filing system
- Maintain the project's library of documents (including engineering, architectural, procurement and construction documents)

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Completion of secondary school is an asset
- Completion of an apprenticeship or trade licence is an asset

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Relevant technical training or experience
- 1 year document retention/administrative experience
- Experience working on projects of high complexity
- Understand project management processes and document control procedures
- Proven knowledge of document filing systems, policies, and standards
- Experience with electronic document control
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills
