Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Mississauga, ON for an Accounting and Admin Clerk. The Accounting and Admin Clerk will be responsible for various day-to-day tasks related to accounting and administrative duties.

Responsibilities:

1.

Data Entry and Bookkeeping:

  • Performing data entry tasks, ensuring accurate recording of financial transactions.

2.

Tracking Invoices and Expenses:

  • Keeping track of invoices, expenses, and financial documentation.

3.

Reconciling Bank Statements:

  • Comparing bank statements with the general ledger to identify any discrepancies.

4.

Updating and Maintaining Accounting Databases:

  • Managing and organizing financial records in databases and Quickbooks online.

5.

Filing Financial Records:

  • Organizing and maintaining physical and digital financial records is part of their role.

6.

Administrative tasks:

  • Completing other administrative tasks to support the business objective.

Requirements and Skills:

Basic Accounting Knowledge:

  • Familiarity with fundamental accounting procedures. Experience using Quickbooks Online

Data Accuracy and Attention to Detail:

  • Accounting and Admin Clerks must be meticulous in their work.

Proficiency in MS Office and Spreadsheets:

  • Competency in tools like Microsoft Excel and other office software.

Strong communication Skills:

  • Fluent in English and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Organization Skills:

  • Managing paperwork efficiently.

Data Entry and Word Processing Skills:

  • Proficiency in entering data and using word processing software.

Flexible Language Requirement:

  • French not required

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday

Experience:

  • Administrative: 1 year (required)

In person
