Sample Reception Coordinator - Port Hope Depot

As a Sample Reception Coordinator, your main responsibilities are:

  • Greet all clients in a friendly, positive manner
  • Receive all external client samples and fill out required fields on the Chain of Custody form
  • Review the Chain of Custody for accuracy and ensure correct regulatory sampling criteria is counted for
  • Unpack samples and organize them according to analytical requirements
  • Handle all incoming samples with caution
  • Check packages for shipping labels and any physical damage
  • Scan incoming samples with the Ludlum 9DP ion chamber survey meter to ensure dose rate
