This position is within WSP's environmental division (Mining Engineering and Geology). This division provides a full range of services to industrial and mining operators, including all engineering services.

The intern will work within a multidisciplinary team dedicated to the planning and execution of local and international mining projects.

#Participate in design reviews of mining projects;
Evaluate new technologies, mining methods and mine designs;
Analyze data and select mine design parameters;
Participate in technical studies on mining projects;
Assist in the preparation of bids for underground and open pit mining project evaluations and technical reports (PEA, PFS, FS or other);
Participate in the design of ventilation circuits for underground mines using Ventsim software;
Collaborate in the design of mines using specialized software such as Deswik (asset);
Request budgetary prices for mining equipment or others;
Assist project managers as needed;
Perform all other related tasks that may help in the realization of the project
Student in mining engineering;
Experience with Deswik is an asset;
Experience in mining operations considered an asset;
Flexible to travel.
