Our Total Care Education provides services that can support international students to meet their Academic, Social, Emotional and Physical needs.


As a
U16 Academic Support and Work Habits
Tutor, you will work with students one-on-one to assist them in understanding and completing their high school course work and assignments outside of the classroom.

This position will be required to liaise with the students' teachers in order to understand the students' assignments, educational needs, and development.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Work with students to provide academic support for their high school course work.
  • Communicate regularly with the Department Head on the progress of the students.
  • Motivate students to work hard towards their own success.

Qualifications:

  • An Undergraduate or Graduate degree in a related field of study.
  • Experience tutoring or teaching similar courses or material.
  • Experience working with adolescents and/or international youth.
  • Bilingual in Mandarin/English is an asset.

Hours of Work:

  • Required to work evenings
  • Flexibility with the hours is required.
