requires a highly motivated, career minded, and results orientated individual to fill the key role of
Production Manager based out of Truro, Nova Scotia.

Reporting to the Plant Manager, this position provides coaching, guidance and leadership/direction to the Production Supervisors and operational/production staff.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing leadership and direction to the production team with the production supervisors.
  • Ensure quality guidelines and practices, HACCP guidelines and key records are maintained.
  • Support inventory control.
  • Oversee production scheduling.
  • Manage and support plant project initiatives.
  • Lead continuous improvement projects and promotion of health & safety policies and guidelines; and
  • Manage employee relationships.
  • Ensure health and safety guidelines, practices and procedures are followed.
