Salary:

The Casino Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment within the Casino premises. This role includes cleaning and sanitizing various areas of the Casino, ensuring high standards of hygiene and cleanliness are consistently met. The Casino Housekeeper works closely with the Slot Manager and other team members to ensure that all public spaces, gaming areas, restrooms, and other assigned locations are kept in impeccable condition.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and wiping down surfaces in all designated areas.
  • Sanitize high-touch areas such as door handles, elevator buttons, and handrails to maintain a healthy environment.
  • Clean and restock restrooms regularly, ensuring they are tidy and fully supplied with necessary items.
  • Empty trash receptacles and ensure waste is disposed of properly according to Casino procedures.
  • Monitor and manage the proper recycling of materials as per the Casino's sustainability practices.
  • Identify and report any maintenance or repair needs to the Slot Manager promptly.
  • Ensure that cleaning equipment is well-maintained and report any malfunctions.
  • Interact with guests and employees professionally and courteously, offering assistance when needed.
  • Respond to guest requests or complaints regarding cleanliness promptly and efficiently.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Follow all Casino policies and procedures


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred, ideally in a Casino, hotel, or hospitality environment.
  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Good communication skills and a positive attitude.


Working Conditions:

  • Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
  • May be required to work weekends, holidays, or during special events.
  • Exposure to cleaning chemicals and varying temperatures.


Hours of Work

  • The hours of work for this position will vary depending on operational requirements but will include afternoon, evening, and late night, as well as weekends and holidays.
