Detailed Overview
Positions at this level design and build electronic circuits, design and implement solutions to issues and problems and perform fault analyses. Develop and maintain complex computer control systems for the building automation system pertaining to: heating, ventilation and air conditioning system. Performs skilled work in the installation, alteration, troubleshooting, maintenance, service and repair of electronic equipment and systems. Understands, operates and modifies computer software for electronic equipment/systems and building automation systems. All work performed on electronic equipment and systems is done in accordance with, where applicable, bylaws regulations, codes and standards.

Qualifications
Education and Experience
Graduate of a recognized program in electronic technology plus five (5) years recent field experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Industry and vendor equipment certifications as required.
Skills and Abilities
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Ability to deal effectively with others. Physical ability to perform the duties of the position. Ability to organize work. Ability to operate related equipment. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications.
