Overview:

Our client, A well respected worldwide Manufacturer, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Accounts Payable Manager with strong leadership skills to lead their Accounting and Finance's Account Payable team. This role is crucial in overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, including Accounts Payable, reporting, and analysis in their Mississauga office. Responsibilities
Responsibilities:

Team Supervision: Oversee accounting team members, including hiring, training, and ensuring policy compliance.
Month-End Closing: Support and coordinate the month-end closing process.
Invoice Management: Review and approve AP invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
Vendor Relations: Maintain strong relationships with vendors and the purchasing department, addressing inquiries promptly.
Report Preparation: Generate required monthly reports and review monthly account reconciliations.
Internal Controls: Implement and maintain internal controls for accuracy and completeness in the AP process.
Audit Compliance: Ensure timely completion of SOX audits and adherence to internal policies.
Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis on business performance and assist in preparing annual business plans and forecasts.
Support Functions: Provide daily support to the Accounts Payable team and other team members, assist with internal and external audits, and aid in cash flow forecasting and budget preparation.

Qualifications
Qualifications:

Proven experience in accounting management, particularly in supervising teams and managing accounts payable processes.
Strong understanding of internal controls and audit compliance.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting.
Ability to work collaboratively and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
