Work with us and we’ll make you even better Reporting to the Team Leader, in this role, you will: In support of the effective and efficient operation of the distribution warehouse, the Technician is responsible to diagnose problems and implement solutions, perform preventative maintenance work, utilize several tools, and understand a variety of utility systems for a warehouse fulfilment center with a focus on automation technologies such as end of line packaging, conveyors, included is the troubleshooting and repair of hardware failures. • Perform general maintenance, repairs and troubleshooting processes (including mechanical and electrical) • Perform board/service repairs on required equipment • Perform hardware upgrades to existing equipment • Operate and maintain power tools such as drills, sanders, grinders, circular saws, jigsaws, impact drivers, nail guns, and heat guns. • Knows how to use the necessary tools and equipment • Perform troubleshooting and resolve most hardware or software • Follows installation and operation manuals • Uses diagnostic tools to determine repair plans • Include all relevant information about work performed into SAP • Repair broken-down or damaged equipment • Adheres to safety regulations and industry standards • Perform other duties as assigned by the Team Leader We are looking for a team member that has: • High School diploma or equivalent education • Demonstrated experience working in a warehouse environment, continually adapting to change and ability to work under pressure • Previous related job experience • Familiarity and conformance with legislated requirements of the OHSA • Effective interpersonal, communication skills, time management and organizational skills  Ability to work a flexible schedule and overtime if required  Microsoft Office an asset  Must be able to work in a variety of physical positions, including sitting, standing for long periods, and walking  Ability to lift up to 50lbs on a continual basis We want a team member that will shape SCI’s culture and value that we: • Look out for one another by putting the safety and well-being of each other first, always do what we say we’re going to do and treat everyone with honesty and respect.
