The primary role of a Network Engineer involves designing, deploying, managing, and securing our network infrastructure. This encompasses overseeing network configuration and implement necessary upgrades to enhance performance, resolving connectivity problems, and fortifying security measures to safeguard the CanDeal’s network and infrastructure. Additionally, the Network Engineer will create comprehensive network documentation and offer technical assistance when required.

years minimum experience in Network Engineering in a Managed Service Provider or similar workspace or 3+ minimum experience in a Network Engineering role in an Enterprise workspace.
with network and security automation preferred, i.e. Ansible, Python, Javascript, Terraform, etc.
experience in Data Center, Cloud and Enterprise Routing, Firewalling and Switching is required.
to troubleshoot large enterprise networks.
to explain technical concepts, give guidance and vision about the solution.
knowledge of network protocols, topologies, and hardware (routers, switches, firewalls, etc.).
with network security practices and tools.
in network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
with network vendor API’s a plus.
with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, etc.)
to think technically then translate into clear verbal and written communications for technical and non-technical audiences.

This role requires working with a team of other network/systems engineers, Infrastructure architects, IT professionals, and potentially clients. This role requires the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and be able to adapt quickly to changing requirements.
