Context: To continue IKOS’s growth in Canada, we are recruiting RAMS Engineers who are eager to take their first steps in railway signaling systems and are keen to participate in our mission throughout the country. The RAMS engineer will be part of the RAMS engineering team and will be responsible for the application of RAM and Safety process within internal projects according to customer requirements, contractual documents, applicable Rules and Regulations, company instructions, and procedures. Responsibilities: Conduct Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Safety analyses to ensure railway systems meet performance and regulatory standards. Prepare project RAMS deliverables according to the program. Set up the Safety assurance process and ensure it is followed throughout the project lifecycle by all those involved. Define, distribute, and verify safety requirements for the product and its elements. Identify and mitigate potential system safety risks, ensuring compliance with railway safety standards. Set up, follow up, and document the project RAMS design and demonstration plan. Support RAMS testing , verification, and validation activities to ensure compliance with project requirements. Contribute to risk assessments , accident investigations , and continuous improvement of RAMS methodologies . Contribute to the improvement of RAMS methodologies, processes, and industry best practices We'd love you to apply if: You hold a Bachelor's and/or master’s degree in science or any technical engineering field . Experience in system safety , RAMS engineering , risk assessment , and safety analysis in the railway industry. You know about Safety Critical and Safety Related activities in the Rail Transit System environment. Strong understanding of CENELEC safety standards (EN 50126, EN 50128, EN 50129) . Proficiency in RAMS tools and methodologies. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Detail-oriented with a focus on precision and safety. You hold good verbal and written communication skills. You are a team player and ready to learn. You have good communication skills .
