KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Analyzing Financial Data:

  • Continuously analyze data to identify bottlenecks, efficiencies, and valuable insights.
  • Source and coordinate internal and external data for in-depth analysis.
  • Transform analysis into actionable insights for the business.

Advice:

  • Proactively advise colleagues and management on data-driven opportunities and market developments.
  • Provide insights to optimize decision-making processes.
  • Provide recommendations on major financial events.

Planning & Control Cycle:

  • Support the business in preparing development plans and annual budgets.
  • Conduct financial analysis and prepare reports on actual performance.
  • Assist in the analysis of annual and half-year figures.

Forecasting Future Trends

  • Stay up-to-date on market trends and assess their impact using analytics.
  • Analyze major financial events and provide recommendations.

Analysis / Analytics:

  • Conduct complex internal and external analysis to generate insights.
  • Provide ad hoc financial analysis to support divisional strategy.
  • Assist in cost determination, valuation, and pricing strategies.

Compliance: Ensure compliance with corporate policies related to finance and administration.

AUTOMATION & INNOVATION

  • Increase productivity by identifying and implementing process improvements and automation, including creating standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and dashboards.
  • Apply digital capabilities to identify and implement digital transformation and innovation opportunities.

PREFERRED HIRING CRITERIA

  • A bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is a must , with a CPA designation highly regarded.
  • Bring two to three years of relevant experience to the table, ideally in a similar role.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights. Knowledge of corporate compliance policies is a plus.
  • Your digital capabilities, including data analytics, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), and other types of automation experience are essential.
  • Excel, Access, Word – you're a pro. Experience with Power BI, Power Automate , OneStream, and M3? Even better.

  • Hands-On Experience: Previous experience in manufacturing/plant control is a definite plus.
