OVERVIEW Reporting to the EVP, Head of Sales, the VP, ETF Strategist will serve a critical role for the broader Global X Canada Investments team, working collaboratively within the Sales, Marketing, Product and Investment Management teams to uncover, develop and deliver relevant insights, intelligence, and actions to the sales teams. The candidate must be entrepreneurial, a self-starter, and have a passion for capital markets and investing, in addition to possessing and maintaining excellent capital markets knowledge, and written and verbal communication skills. Develop relationships with the sales, marketing, and product teams and assist in the sales process by acting as a subject matter expert on the Global X ETF suite
Self-starter, able to work collaboratively across business units and own projects
Help identify opportunities, sales strategy and content to drive content, meetings, and ETF sales and strategy
Create timely and relevant ETF intelligence, trade ideas and thought leadership to support the sales teams from initiation to delivery via collaboration with internal teams
Assist in the creation and/or updates to ETF marketing pieces, sales decks, and other collaterals that will be used by the distribution team

Educate and promote Global X’s ETF investment philosophy, process, performance, and competitive strengths to clients
Provide education to a wide range of retail clients with varying degrees of knowledge on ETF products and related capital markets information
Participate in client meetings, seminars, conference calls and other meetings (virtual and in person) and provide a high level of product expertise
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of ETFs, capital markets, and the Canadian asset management industry
~Post-secondary degree in related field (Commerce, Finance, Economics and/or Accounting)
~ Strong technical skills with a high level of expertise in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Morningstar, and Bloomberg preferred
~ Bilingual (French and English) considered an asset
