RN RPN Nurse Team Lead

Audit and regulatory compliance for provincial and in-house best practices.
Visit clients and staff, providing hands on care as well as training and mentorship
Combine an entrepreneurial spirit and hands-on leadership in the community through organized outreach Human Resources Coordinate human resources concerning recruitment and selection, orientation and training, discipline, and the probationary/annual performance review of reporting neighborhood health team members
Supervise and support licensed and unlicensed employees to ensure compliance with all federal and provincial legislated standards of practice as well as company policies and procedures.
Responsible for the safety of your team and we ask that you notify your immediate Supervisor of any Health & Safety risks or concerns Training & Development Coordinate and provide training and mentorship for caregivers
Engage in ongoing education, continuous learning for yourself Community Care Provide hands-on Clinical/Nursing care, sometimes as the on-call nurse
Build Client relationships
Support/Train and Mentor Caregivers in the Field while working with Clients
This position may have an occasional an after-hours support component
Experience with community outreach and relationship development, networking
Job Qualification Who You Are: You have a desire to help improve the lives of those in your community.
You have a reliable vehicle and are willing to travel to visit clients within the community on a daily basis
A Graduate of an accredited Provincial Nursing Program with current registration in good standing and valid CPR certification
You have solid knowledge of the principles, practices, and methods of community nursing and service delivery to clients as well as program development, implementation and evaluation
You have at least five (5) years of recent experience with progressive responsibilities, preferably in a community setting
Experience in business development is an asset
You have exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to handle difficult situations in an objective consistent format; ability to work independently and effectively lead a team; above average report writing and communication skills with both Field and Administrative employees.
