We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team and contribute to our mission of delivering high-quality products and services efficiently and reliably.

Position Overview:

As a Logistics Coordinator at our defence procurement company, you will be responsible for organizing incoming and outgoing shipments and collaborating with various stakeholders to streamline logistics operations and processes. This is an on-site position position that is ideal for motivated individuals with a keen eye for detail, and strong organizational and problem solving skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Organize incoming and outgoing shipments by coordinating with carriers, customs brokers, and various stakeholders.
  • Prepare and manage shipping documentation and maintain well organized records.
  • Monitor shipments to verify delivery and communicate with suppliers and customers as necessary.
  • Identify shipping related issues and assist in resolving them.
  • Process invoices from suppliers and issue invoices to customers, collaborating with accounting staff as needed.
  • Track costs and update relevant data about shipments and orders.
  • Contribute to the improvement of shipping processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Fulfill stock orders and complete additional tasks as necessary to support the logistics department.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in shipping, logistics, or a similar role.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in English and French.
  • Keen attention to details.
  • Ability to work independently and resolve issues.
  • Good computer skills, with experience in ERP systems a plus.
  • Knowledge of domestic and international shipping processes and regulations is an asset.

Aperçu du poste :

En tant que Coordinateur(trice) Logistique au sein de notre entreprise de défense, vous serez responsable de l'organisation des expéditions entrantes et sortantes, tout en collaborant avec divers parternairs pour optimiser les opérations et processus logistiques. Ce poste en présentiel est idéal pour les personnes motivées, dotées d'un grand sens du détail, d'exellentes compétences organisatinnelles et d'une forte aptitude à résoudre les problèmes.

Responsabilités :

  • Organiser les expéditions entrantes et sortantes en coordonnant avec les transporteurs, les courtiers en douane et divers partenaires.
  • Préparer et gérer la documentation d'expédition tout en maintenant des dossiers bien organisés.
  • Surveiller les expéditions pour vérifier les livraisons et communiquer avec les fournisseurs et les clients si nécessaire.
  • Identifier les problèmes liés aux expéditions et aider à les résoudre.
  • Traiter les factures des fournisseurs et émettre des factures pour les clients, en collaborant avec le personnel comptable lorsque nécessaire.
  • Suivre les coûts et mettre à jour les données pertinentes concernant les expéditions et les commandes.
  • Contribuer à l'amélioration des processus d'expédition afin d'accroître la précision, l'efficacité et de garantir la conformité aux réglementations applicables.
  • Exécuter les commandes de stock et accomplir des tâches supplémentaires au besoin pour soutenir le département logistique.

Qualifications :

  • Expérience avérée dans l'expédition, la logistique ou un rôle similaire.
  • Solides compétences organisationnelles et en communication.
  • Maîtrise du français et de l'anglais.
  • Grande attention aux détails.
  • Capacité à travailler de manière autonome et à résoudre des problèmes.
  • Bonne maîtrise de l'informatique, et expérience aves les systèmes ERP est un atout.
  • Connaissance des processus et réglementations d'expédition nationaux et internationaux, un plus.
