General Description: The Site Manager is responsible for the successful execution of wind energy projects on a given site. The position oversees health and safety, coordination, and the management of personnel, equipment, and resources to deliver projects according to defined budget, schedule, and quality control parameters. Working closely with the Project Manager (PM), the Site Manager ensures the proper execution of the general contractor's work and manages and coordinates all on-site construction activities related to deliveries, assembly, mechanical completion, inspections, and commissioning of a wind farm. MAIN FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Represent the wind farm owner/developer directly on the construction site; Coordinate internal activities and those of the general contractor as efficiently as possible while respecting operating budgets, construction schedules, procurement timelines, and other plans to ensure on-time project delivery; Ensure compliance with site policies and procedures; Ensure compliance with Senvion health and safety regulations; Ensure coordination between the project site personnel and various external entities and internal groups; Provide regular construction progress reports as required, including delivery status, assembly progress, mechanical completion, and commissioning; Manage daily activities and weekly meetings with subcontractors, clients, and other involved parties; Maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders; Perform any other related tasks. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory or management role, preferably in the wind industry; Experience in a unionized environment is an asset; Bilingualism is an asset (functional oral and written communication); Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.); Valid driver's license required; Availability to work away from home. Description générale : Le gestionnaire de site est responsable de la bonne réalisation des projets éoliens sur un site donné. Le poste est responsable de la santé et de la sécurité, de la coordination et de la gestion des personnes, de l'équipement et des ressources pour mener à bien les projets selon des paramètres définis en matière de budget, de calendrier et de contrôle de la qualité. Le gestionnaire de site, en étroite collaboration avec le directeur de projet (PM), s'assurera de la bonne exécution des travaux de l'entrepreneur général, gérera et coordonnera toutes les activités du chantier en relation directe avec les livraisons, le montage, l'achèvement mécanique, les inspections et la mise en service d'un parc éolien. PRINCIPALES FONCTIONS ET RESPONSABILITÉS Représenter le propriétaire / promotteur du site éolien directement sur le chantier ; Coordonner les activités internes et celle de l'entrepreneur général sur site de la manière la plus efficace possible en respectant les budgets de fonctionnement, les calendriers de construction, les délais d'achat et autres plans pour assurer la livraison à temps du projet ; Assurer le respect des politiques et procédures du site ; Assurer le respect des règlements Senvion en matière de santé et sécurité ; Assurer la coordination entre le personnel du site du projet et les diverses entités externes et groupes internes ; Fournir des rapports réguliers sur l'avancement de la construction, selon les besoins ; y compris l'état des livraisons, des montages, de l'achèvement mécanique et de la mise en service ; Gérer les activités quotidiennes et les réunions hebdomadaires avec les sous-traitants, les clients et les autres parties impliquées ; Entretenir de bonnes relations avec les parties prenantes ; Toutes autres tâches connexes. QUALIFICATIONS REQUISES Détenir un minimum de 3 années d'expérience dans un rôle de supervision ou de gestion préférablement dans le domaine éolien ; Expérience dans un environnement syndiqué souhaitable ; Bilinguisme un atout (communications orales et écrites fonctionnelles) ; Maîtrise de la suite Office (Word, Excel, etc.) ; Permis de conduire valide obligatoire ; Être disponible pour travailler à l'extérieur du domicile.
