Ready for a new permanent Legal Administrative Assistant role where you will make a direct impact? Robert Half Legal is partnering with a highly respected long-standing Western Canadian law firm to find a talented LAA to join their Litigation team in Vancouver. This is a confidential search for our client one of the leaders in the local legal market for over a century known for their focus on excellence and integrity. About the Opportunity You will primarily support two Lawyers in a busy Litigation practice with a focus on commercial litigation, health and environmental law matter. Your core responsibilities will be essential to keeping the practice running smoothly. managing day to day workflow scheduling trials BF management expenses prebills drafting documents letters notices of application running conflict searches and managing files from start to finish. This is a permanent position and an excellent chance to establish yourself with a prestigious firm. The previous incumbent is transitioning to a different desk upon their return. What You Bring 3+ years of experience as an LAA in general civil litigation. commercial litigation experience is strongly preferred. The ability to effectively manage a high volume desk using excellent prioritization and critical thinking skills. Highly organized detail oriented and proactive. someone who can anticipate needs and maintain high quality work under pressure. Clear and confident communication is key. We need someone who is comfortable and curious enough to ask questions. Compensation and Perks Salary. Competitive ranging from $65,000-$85,000 depending on years of experience. Benefits. Extended benefits plus a $1000 Health Spending Account. Time Off. 3 weeks of paid vacation plus 6 days PTO. RRSP. Generous matching program starting at 2% after probation and increasing with tenure up to 5%. Office Environment. Located in a great downtown Vancouver building.
