Job Number: J Job Title: Recreation Clerk (TFT) Job Type: Temporary Full-Time Date Posted: October 6, 2025 Closing Date: October 15, 2025 Job Category: Recreation Branch/Location Office: Recreation City: Port Moody Province / State: British Columbia Salary Range: $ $35.71 The City of Port Moody is seeking an enthusiastic and organized individual to provide front-line customer service and clerical support for the Recreation Services department on a temporary, full-time basis through February 2026. This position currently works Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm at Kyle Center and will provide program and facilities information to customers and will be responsible for program registration and facility bookings, liaison with maintenance staff to ensure security for the facility, and clerical support to the department. Basic Qualifications: Grade 12 education plus a minimum of six months related experience providing front-line customer service and facility /room booking, preferably in a recreation setting Computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and publishing software. Demonstrated customer service skills, including the ability to handle challenging customers Ability to work well independently and multi-task in a busy environment Emergency first aid training Cash handling experience Excellent customer service and communication skills Familiarity with the PerfectMind registration/facility booking system would be an asset Please note that employment with the City of Port Moody is subject to the receipt of a satisfactory police information check.
