Civil Project Manager

We are currently looking for a Civil Project Manager to join our team. The Civil Project Manager will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to oversee project staff and subcontractors, providing leadership and direction to ensure all projects meet operational, quality, and safety standards. Responsibilities include developing detailed scopes of work, budgets, and schedules; conducting risk management assessments; and ensuring full compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements. The role will start in the office and then transition to an onsite position involving travel. The schedule will be 16 days on and 12 days off , with paid travel . Duties and Responsibilities: Develop detailed project plans that include scope, schedule and budget Review and approve engineering designs, ensuring they meet project specifications Work closely with relevant stakeholders, contractors, and vendors to ensure efficient project delivery Monitor project progress, quality of work and materials used to maintain project standards Prepare required reports and forecasts Manage and allocate resources, including personnel, materials, and equipment. Conduct ongoing risk assessments - identifying and developing strategies to reduce risks Conduct project evaluations and lessons learned to improve future projects. Requirements 5+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the mining or construction industries A bachelor's Degree in engineering is an asset Proficient with computers PMP certificate is an asset Knowledgeable with Microsoft Suite of programs including MS Project Demonstrate an understanding of project management methodologies and principles. Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration and reporting. Must be able to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and meet project deadlines.
