About This Role

This is a non-salary commission-based, independent contract role for Stock Loan Sales Representative / Referral Agent. As part of our team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and cultivating relationships with clients in the securities lending division.

Scandinavian Savings and Loans Trust (SSLT) offer loans against publicly traded securities in the range of 10 million to 500 million USD. You will be tasked to source and introduce High-Net-Worth Individual and corporate clients, facilitate negotiation and provide professional customer service. You will work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless execution and client satisfaction.

Essential Duties

  • Source potential clients and introduce our stock loan services
  • Engage with clients, gathering financial needs, details, and assessing loan viability
  • Guide clients through the AML, KYC process, ensuring a smooth regulation compliant experience
  • Respond swiftly to client inquiries

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in stock loan sales or private placement deal or equity financing
  • Strong understanding of securities lending and financial markets
  • Possess a substantial network within the high-net-worth individual (HNWI), family office, and corporate sectors
  • Candidates with experience or current roles in Private Banking, Wealth Management, Financial Advisory, Corporate Banking, Investment Banking, or Private Equity are preferred

  • SSLT lends USD cash vs Stock Collateral
  • Loan-to-Value (LTV): 50%
  • Loan Interest Rate: 3.0%
  • Loan Amount: US$ 10million - $500million (minimum US$ 10million)
  • Maturity: 2-years (renewable)
  • Stock Collateral: listed stock on NASDAQ
  • Target clients: HNWI or corporates
  • Sales Representative Commission: 2.0% of Loan Value
