Title – Talent Acquisition Specialist

Tenure – Ongoing, Contract

Location – Mississauga, ON

Hours – 8 am – 4 pm/ 9 am – 5 pm (40 hours/week)

Pay Rate - $25 - $35/hr.

Workplace Type – Onsite

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Recruiter with 4-5 years of experience to manage the full-cycle recruitment processes. The ideal candidate will have experience using Dayforce and a background in healthcare recruitment is an asset. This role involves sourcing, screening, and hiring top talent to meet the company’s staffing needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full recruitment cycle, including job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring of candidates.
  • Utilize Dayforce for managing recruitment processes and tracking candidates.
  • Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications.
  • Perform job and task analysis to document job requirements and objectives.
  • Source and attract candidates using databases, social media, and other recruiting tools.
  • Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods to filter candidates.
  • Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience, and aptitudes.
  • Provide analytical and well-documented recruiting reports to the rest of the team.
  • Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process.
  • Promote the company’s reputation as a great place to work.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in recruitment and talent acquisition.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 4-5 years of proven work experience as a Recruiter.
  • Experience with Dayforce is required.
  • Healthcare recruitment experience is an asset.
  • Strong ability to conduct different types of interviews (structured, competency-based, stress interviews, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with various selection processes (phone interviewing, reference check, etc.).
  • Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and Candidate Management Systems (CMS).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
