We are seeking a detail-oriented Cost Control Sr Advisor to monitor, analyze, and report on the cost and schedule performance of complex, multi-disciplinary projects. In this role, you will collaborate closely with project managers, teams, schedulers, and field analysts to deliver accurate and timely cost information, ensuring our projects are managed in line with our company's established controls, policies, and procedures. Join us and help drive excellence in project delivery Here's what you will do: Prepare timely and accurate reports and presentations for and provide support to project management and stakeholders regarding the cost status of their respective project budgets. Perform earned value measurements to identify trends; communicate analysis and recommendations to project management. Perform monthly project close process, inclusive of accruals, and prepare monthly project reports. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to collect input for project estimates and forecast updates as needed. Prepare and document project change orders timely in accordance with Project Management Office standards. Engage the Project Manager and partners in meetings and discussions to review and re-forecast project costs. Review cost transactions to ensure accurate project costs. Work with the project scheduler and field controls analyst to produce weekly construction reporting. Establish and maintain the project Work Breakdown Structure such that it facilitates project execution and cost control during project execution and fulfills other Company stakeholder requirements Participate in meetings to stay informed of project changes to scope, cost, schedule, and progress. Assign priorities to complex, multiple, competing projects by effectively prioritizing work activities. Establish and adjust priorities based on the department's objectives and the Company's strategic plan. Liaise with the Company functional departments for project related responsibilities including but not limited to purchase order maintenance, invoice resolution, audits, project health checks, gating, contracting, and financial forecasting Who you are: You have the following education and experience: Four-year college degree BA or BS preferred. Minimum of 6 years of project costing, construction project costing, or a combination with field experience will be given additional attention. Candidates who do not possess a university degree, an additional 3-years of related experience required. Specialized depth and breadth of expertise in project controls Experienced with Earned Value Management and its use in Project Management Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite with focus on enhanced skills in Excel. Detail oriented, self-motivated, and highly analytical. Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational and team skills Preferred: Ability to identify and complete tasks independently. Ability to optimally manage and prioritize workload, in a fast paced and dynamic environment and resolve issues in a timely manner. Ability to articulate technical information in detail to users that may or may not have technical knowledge Possess the skills for successfully building relationships and employ professional engagement with team members, internal partners, vendors and service providers of all levels of the organization Working Conditions: Office-based role, optional travel to field Enbridge provides competitive workplace programs that differentiate us and offer flexibility to our team members. For US Only: Salary: Ranges from $94,300 – $120,000 based upon experience.
