The Operations Support Specialist is responsible for ensuring smooth manufacturing operations by providing daily production support, managing inventory reconciliation, tracking logistics, and resolving quality issues. This role serves as the primary liaison between Canadian operations and American Procurement teams, actively participating in production meetings and critical calls. Key duties include identifying and correcting inventory discrepancies across SAP systems, supporting production and Forward Stocking Location (FSL) activities, and validating inventory accuracy. The specialist works closely with quality teams to expedite resolution of nonconformance issues and proactively identifies risks within the supply chain. Additionally, they monitor critical part deliveries, provide real-time updates, and coordinate with shipping partners to resolve delays. Proficiency in SAP systems, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are essential for success in this position.
