Procurement Specialist West GTA
12-month Contract– $45 per hour
2-3 Days per week in office

Our client, a leading public-sector organization, is seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled procurement professional to manage complex sourcing initiatives, ensure compliance, and deliver value across the organization.

Lead end-to-end procurement projects, including planning, developing, issuing, and managing RFPs, RFQs, and contracts.
Manage supplier engagement, evaluation, and contract negotiations to optimize performance, cost, and risk.
Monitor contract execution and vendor performance, implementing corrective actions as needed.
Support continuous improvement by developing procurement tools, processes, and staff guidance.

Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in Business Administration, Public Administration, or related discipline.
~5+ years of procurement experience, ideally within a public-sector context (not essential)
~ Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines while maintaining compliance.
~ This is a contract position with hybrid flexibility, requiring occasional on-site presence.
