Occupational Therapist - Lifemark Physiotherapy Hazelwood
Lifemark Hazelwood is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our multi-disciplinary clinic in Surrey. If you are a self-directed clinician who thrives working with a dynamic, inclusive, collaborative environment and are passionate about helping clients get back to meaningful and productive activity, you belong here If you have interest in working with special populations such as Canadian Veterans Rehabilitation Services, Hand Therapy, or Cognitive Rehabilitation, then this is an opportunity to work directly with experienced clinicians servicing these unique groups.
Assessing client’s physical, mental health, and/or cognitive functioning within the clinic or community setting. Common assessments include: job demands analyses, functional capacity evaluations, cognitive abilities evaluations, ergonomics, psychosocial OT intervention, and attendant care.
• Creating and implementing individualized treatment plans based on analysis and clinical reasoning
• Utilizing e-charting software to document treatment sessions; Collaborating with the inter-professional team at your clinic
• Supervising Occupational Therapy students (as preferred)
• Networking with all stakeholders to promote Lifemark OT programs
• Demonstrated commitment to post-graduate professional development
• Previous experience supporting auto insurance, long term disability, and WSIB referrals is a strong asset
• Certification in Concussion or Vestibular Therapy is considered an asset
• A valid driver’s license and have access to a reliable vehicle
Annual continuing education allowance with a variety of internal training opportunities
• Specialty physiotherapy-based services such as cognitive rehabilitation, hand therapy, vestibular, concussion, and cancer rehab
