About the Project: The Eglinton Crosstown West Extension will bring the Eglinton Crosstown LRT another 9.2 kilometres farther west, creating a continuous rapid transit line from the east end of Toronto into Mississauga. The Stations, Rail, and Systems (SRS) package encompasses the design, construction, integration, and commissioning of key project components. Position Overview The Systems Integration & Interface Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of the ECWE Stations, Rail and Systems (SRS) project. This role ensures effective integration of complex rail, station, and systems components, while managing interfaces between multiple disciplines, contractors, stakeholders, and external partners. The Coordinator will facilitate coordination across civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, and rail systems teams to ensure technical alignment, compliance, and constructability throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Coordinate systems integration activities across stations, rail, and systems scope to ensure seamless interface management. Act as the liaison between design, construction, and systems teams, facilitating technical workshops, interface meetings, and issue resolution. Support the development, tracking, and closure of Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and integration deliverables. Monitor interface risks, issues, and dependencies; escalate and assist in resolution to maintain project milestones. Ensure compliance with project requirements, industry standards, and safety/regulatory obligations for all systems integration activities. Collaborate with quality, commissioning, and testing teams to support system verification and validation. Maintain accurate records of interface meetings, decisions, and actions; support integration reporting requirements. Assist in change management and impact assessments related to systems and interfaces. Provide coordination support for commissioning planning, readiness reviews, and integrated testing activities. Qualifications Degree or diploma in Engineering, Project Management, or a related technical field. Minimum 5+ years of experience in systems integration, interface management, or coordination within large-scale transit, rail, or infrastructure projects. Strong understanding of multi-disciplinary rail systems (e.g., communications, signaling, traction power, MEP, and station systems). Experience working with Interface Control Documents, requirements management, or systems engineering frameworks. Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation abilities. Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools (e.g., MS Project, SharePoint, Primavera P6, or similar). Key Competencies Collaborative and solutions-focused approach to managing complex interfaces. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to support issue resolution. Ability to work effectively in a multi-stakeholder environment with contractors, consultants, and client representatives. Commitment to safety, quality, and delivery excellence.
