The Department of Community Health Sciences, Cumming School of Medicine, University of Calgary invites applications for a Contingent Term position in Research Impact Assessment. The successful candidate will be appointed at the rank of Professor. This position has 60% protected time for research with 20% time for teaching and 20% allocated to service activities.

Candidates must hold a PhD in a relevant area (e.g. psychology of human factors). Evidence of an international research agenda in research impact assessment is required. This includes peer-reviewed publications and other academic outputs in the area of research impact assessment. Candidates must also have demonstrated evidence of research impact assessment white papers or technical reports for groups such as Alberta Health Services, Alberta Innovates and the Canadian Academy of Health Sciences.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience (greater than 25 years) in senior management leadership in mobilizing knowledge to impact across health and technology commercialization sectors. Additionally, the successful candidate will have leadership experience in the International School on Research Impact Assessment. The candidate will demonstrate evidence of successful partnerships with the Government of Alberta, the Canadian Health Services Policy Research Alliance, and the International Alliance of Mental Health Research Funders.
