Our client, who is located downtown Toronto, is looking for a Financial Analyst to join their team for a 14 month contract to cover off a mat leave The Financial Analyst will provide financial and administrative services to support the work of management and further the goals of the organization. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with payroll, accounts payable/Visa payments, finance and investments.
About The Opportunity
Our client, who is located downtown Toronto, is looking for a Financial Analyst to join their team for a 14 month contract to cover off a mat leave The Financial Analyst will provide financial and administrative services to support the work of management and further the goals of the organization. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with payroll, accounts payable/Visa payments, finance and investments. Duties include but are not limited to:- processing semi monthly payroll and processing benefits
- accounts payable, Visa statements and EFT process
- bank reconciliations, month end journal entries, monitoring cash flow and assisting with preparing financial statements
- monitoring investments and ensure investments are compliant
- monthly investment reports
- 5+ years of experience in accounts payable and payroll
- Experience with EFT process
- Experience providing information and assistance to auditors during their audit (planning, interim and year-end)
- Experience in investments
- This opportunity comes with a significant completion bonus and benefits, competitive pay and a collaborative working environment
