Overview:

The Account Manager works directly with senior team members to flawlessly execute the strategy built to meet client goals. They are stewards of the Viral Nation process and proactively manage the client file alongside other team members. They display exceptional time management and organizational skills and thrive on adaptability, assignments and tight deadlines.

Responsibilities:

  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Operate as the internal project manager by providing feedback and managing up where necessary within the team and cross functionally
  • Demonstrate a good understanding of paid marketing
  • Possess tactical proficiency in developing paid marketing recommendations, with ongoing tracking and reporting on results.
  • Exhibit effective project management skills working closely with team to prepare status reports for clients as needed in relations to ongoing campaigns
  • Be a master of process and care about the minutiae of how work is done to ensure efficiencies and practicalities
  • Effectively work within account budget parameters and assist with budget management
  • Participate in presentation process including research, audits and proposal development

Qualifications and Skills:

  • At least 3 years experience predominantly in digital communications, paid marketing (Google, Bing, Social), project management, social media etc.
  • Proficient with paid advertising channels (i.e. Google Ads, Meta, TikTok etc.) and familiarity with paid marketing strategies and tactics; fluent in marketing jargon and various paid marketing KPIs
  • Ability to coordinate projects with technical, channel-specific marketers
  • Strong presentations skills, confident speaker, with the ability to tactfully manage client relations; balanced with an eagerness to learn and humility with your craft
  • Ability and experience in developing and executing successful client programs
  • Direct experience with social media tools and platforms
  • Experience working with Hubspot or Monday.com a plus
  • Experience working with social media influencers and content creators a bonus
