Electrical Engineer – Oil & Gas Facilities (Contract) | Calgary, AB Contract role supporting a major operator on brownfield and sustaining capital projects We’re seeking experienced Electrical Engineers with 8–20 years of facility design and execution experience in the oil and gas sector. The focus is on medium voltage (MV) and low voltage (LV) systems within upstream, midstream, or downstream environments. This role supports engineering deliverables, vendor coordination, and construction interface across active brownfield scopes. Key Focus Areas: MV/LV distribution systems, motor control centers, switchgear, and cable routing Facility power systems design, load studies, and equipment specifications Coordination with instrumentation, mechanical, and civil disciplines Support for procurement, vendor review, and construction queries Familiarity with Canadian codes, standards, and operator specifications Qualifications: Degree in Electrical Engineering 8–20 years of oil & gas facility experience (brownfield preferred) Strong working knowledge of MV/LV systems and facility power design Experience with owner/operator environments or EPCs supporting them P.Eng. designation preferred or eligible for registration in Alberta
