Nous sommes à la recherche d'un(e) Ingénieur(e) en R&D motivé(e) pour coordonner et réaliser des projets R&D ambitieux.

Vos principales responsabilités :

  • Gestion de projet :
    coordonner les projets du laboratoire R&D pour garantir des prototypes de haute qualité, livrés dans les délais et dans le respect des budgets.
  • Planification et documentation :
    définir les objectifs de projet avec les parties prenantes, élaborer des plans de projet détaillés, suivre les jalons et les budgets, et documenter chaque étape des processus et tests.
  • Conception et tests :
    concevoir et optimiser des circuits imprimés, ainsi que des concepts optiques et mécaniques;
    réaliser des tests rigoureux et analyser les données pour valider la conformité aux spécifications.
  • Analyse et communication :
    analyser les données, générer des rapports et présenter les résultats aux parties prenantes pour orienter les décisions de R&D.
  • Collaboration en laboratoire :
    travailler étroitement avec l’équipe R&D pour améliorer les méthodes de test et optimiser les flux de travail en laboratoire.

Compétences techniques essentielles :

  • BAC en génie mécanique ou électrique avec 3 ans d’expérience dans un rôle de R&D similaire
  • Expérience avec AutoCAD, SolidWorks, électronique embarquée/firmware (Python), soudure manuelle, et conception PCB (Altium)
  • Bilinguisme (français et anglais)
  • Compétences en documentation, tests, et conception de circuits
  • Maîtrise de MS Project et des outils Microsoft Office
  • Certification PMP (atout), expérience dans un environnement manufacturier (atout)

R&D Engineer – Montreal

At e2ip , we push the boundaries of innovation to transform display technologies and smart surfaces. Do you want to contribute to revolutionary projects in an advanced research environment? We seek a motivated R&D Engineer to coordinate and carry out ambitious R&D projects.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Project Management:
    Coordinate R&D lab projects to ensure high-quality prototypes are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Planning and Documentation:
    Define project objectives with stakeholders, create detailed project plans, track milestones and budgets, and document each step of processes and tests.
  • Design and Testing:
    Design and optimize printed circuits as well as optical and mechanical concepts;
    perform rigorous testing and analyze data to validate compliance with specifications.
  • Analysis and Communication:
    Analyze test data, generate reports, and present findings to stakeholders to guide R&D decisions.
  • Lab Collaboration:
    Work closely with the R&D team to improve testing methods and optimize lab workflows.

Essential Technical Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with 3 years of experience in a similar R&D role
  • Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, embedded electronics/firmware (Python), manual soldering, and PCB design (Altium)
  • Bilingualism (French and English)
  • Skills in documentation, testing, and circuit design
  • Proficiency in MS Project and Microsoft Office tools
  • PMP certification (an asset), experience in a manufacturing environment (an asset)
