Ring is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager (Sr. TPM) to lead the development of highly scalable software solutions that power Ring cameras, video doorbells, and other security devices.
In this role you will work closely with software, AI science, hardware, and product teams to deliver innovative product experiences to customers around the world.
Ideal candidates will have a technical background, be detail-oriented, possess strong communication skills, be proficient in orchestrating multisite development, and have excellent problem solving abilities. You will assess risks, anticipate bottlenecks, balance business needs with technical constraints, reconcile tradeoffs, provide escalation management, and encourage measured risk taking to maximize customer and business benefits.
TPM, you will be the engine driving development activities, connecting global teams, and ensuring senior leaders are updated and aligned through regular business reviews.
Formulating program plans that balance business needs, technical risks, product performance, schedule constraints, costs, and resource availability.
- Driving engineering program execution, reconciling technical trade-offs, resolving blocking issues, and tracking and reporting status.
- Leveraging program management and software development best practices to drive results.
- As a smart security company, we strive to make safety and peace of mind accessible to everyone and empower communities to work together for one another. 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 3+ years of software development experience
- 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
- 3+ years program management experience driving the end-to-end development and delivery of AI/ML enabled features PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
- Experience in technical program management working directly with software engineering teams
- Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
