Job Description: We are currently seeking additional experienced fitters to join our Edmonton facility's team. As a fitter with Norfab you will have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects and materials. We have openings on our evening shift, which runs from 4:00pm-3:30am Monday - Thursday. We operate a permanent day and night shift. Day shift is Monday-Friday, 44 hours each week. Night shift is Monday-Thursday, 44 hours each week. There is also a premium rate for nights. Both day and night shift positions are available. Also, overtime opportunities are often available on Saturdays for any employee interested in additional income. Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints. Assemble components using various tools and equipment, including power tools and welding rigs. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues during the assembly process. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Conduct quality checks on assembled products to ensure they meet required standards. Experience Enrolled as an Apprentice Plate Fitter and/or Welder a strong asset. Extensive fitting experience required. Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics is required. Familiarity with use of power tools and welders. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
