SUMMARY OF JOB: The Certified Nursing Assistant (C NA) performs assigned duties of resident care, activities of daily living and related tasks under the direct supervision of a nurse and the nurse manager. Promotes maximum independence and comfort for each resident by providing individualized care in collaboration with co-workers, residents and families. Supports and Promotes Resident strengths and abilities, capacity for social contribution, unique values, preferences, living habits and autonomy of choice.

Successful completion of the nurse aide course as certified by the state of PA
High School Diploma or equivalent
Must be flexible with scheduling
Demonstrates sensitivity to residents emotional, social, mental health and spiritual needs
Previous experience in a rehab setting preferred.
