The Return to Work program at Lifemark Father David Bauer Arena is looking for one physiotherapist to join our team

The RTW program offers stability and team based work, with compensation that is competitive with industry standards.

The Lifemark RTW program provides interdisciplinary care for injured workers, in preparation for return to work. Clients are referred from WCB following workplace musculoskeletal injuries (e.g., sprains/strains, tendonitis, fractures, dislocations, etc.).

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high quality assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal injuries, with a goal of improving function, managing symptoms, and reducing the impact of workplace injury on clients’ lives.

The physiotherapist position requires working closely with an interdisciplinary team, including psychologists, occupational therapists, kinesiologist, and physicians. There is also plenty of opportunities to collaborate with other physiotherapists.

The successful candidate will also have potential for growth into specialty services including treatment for Brain Injury, Traumatic Psychological Injuries, etc.

Location: 2424 University Drive NW, Calgary, AB

Schedule: Monday - Friday, either 7:30am - 4pm

Mandatory requirements: Registration (member in good standing) with the provincial College of Physiotherapists

Your Day-to-Day:

• Assessing musculoskeletal injuries including, but not limited to, strains, sprains, fractures, dislocations, muscle weakness, and limited range of motion

• Collaborating with interdisciplinary team to create and implement individualized treatment plans based on analysis and clinical reasoning

• Utilizing e-charting software to document treatment sessions and recommendations

• Communicating with external stakeholders and client referral sources

• Managing caseload in a fast-paced environment

What You Bring to the Team:

• Registration (member in good standing) with the provincial College of Physiotherapists

• 1-2 + years’ experience treating clients in an outpatient setting (strong asset)

• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work cooperatively with others

• Demonstrated commitment to post-graduate professional development
